Meghan E. Garvey, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at the Law Firm of Daniel J. Reiter, Esq. Ms. Garvey is experienced in trust and estate law and handling probate and administration proceedings in New York Surrogate’s Court. Ms. Garvey received her law degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Television-Radio from Ithaca College. She is admitted to practice law in New York State.
During law school, Ms. Garvey worked as a Research Assistant on projects advocating for the rights of incarcerated people. She assisted in publishing the 2020 supplement to the publication Rights of Prisoners 5th Edition by Professor Michael Mushlin. Ms. Garvey co-wrote an article analyzing the impact of remote prisons using data acquired by the Freedom of Information Act, published in Westchester Lawyer Magazine.
Ms. Garvey grew up in Rockland County, New York and currently lives in Astoria, Queens. When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
